Men's Trauma Group: expression of interest

A small therapy group for men (4 places), led by Paul Shin, trauma-informed somatic & art psychotherapist. This form takes about 5 minutes and asks for broad strokes only. It gives me a sense of your preferences and whether the group is likely to be a good fit. Everyone who may be suitable will be invited to a free, confidential screening call, where we can talk properly.

Confidential. Your answers are seen only by me, stored securely, and deleted if you don't join the group. This form isn't monitored day-to-day. If you need immediate support, contact Samaritans on 116 123 (free, 24/7) or your GP.
Section 1Contact & basics
Section 2Format & practical preferences
Which format would you prefer? *
Which times could generally work for a weekly 90-minute session?
The group runs as a 12-session weekly block (fee discussed at screening). Is a weekly fee in the โ‚ฌ30โ€“50 range workable for you?
Section 3Therapy background
Are you currently in individual therapy? *
If so, roughly how long in total?
If currently in therapy: is your therapist aware you're considering group work?

This group works best alongside individual support. I may ask at screening whether you'd be open to keeping individual sessions available during the block.

Section 4Where you are right now

Broad strokes only. The screening call is the right place for anything personal.

Which areas feel most relevant to you? (optional)
Day to day at the moment, I would describe myself as: *
When things get intense, I have ways to settle myself (breathing, exercise, talking to someone, etc.) *
Rarely trueUsually true
Is there anything currently making this a difficult time for group work? (optional)
Section 5Understanding & consent
Please confirm each of the following: *

I'll reply by email within a few days to arrange a screening call.
